Back in the days of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Medieval writing fonts were the way to transcribe and document current events, issue notices, invitations, and a lot more during the years 401-1500. It was during this time that the English language began becoming more refined and legible. For example, a simple word we know like “difficult”, might have had 13 or more DIFFERENT meanings! But on through the middle ages and into the present, these words came to only have just one singular meaning.

Medieval fonts were also much more artistic and looked genuinely Royal in nature. More accurately, medieval fonts are genuinely associated with the Feudal Medieval system. The Royalty was the highest social class in existence during Medieval Times, and Old English style writing was a big part of this time period. Old English is one example of a font type that fully encompassed how Medieval text was written very well.
